Alta Health is able to offer customers a variety of health care plans through Great-West, including:

• Consumer-driven health plans – members have more control over their health choices, with a lower premium for employers:
• Health Reimbursement Account (HRA)
• Health Savings Account (HSA)
• Great-West Healthcare Consumer Advantage
• Traditional products – members have the flexibility to use a primary care physician for general medical care and referrals to specialists; these include:
• Preferred Provider Organization (PPO)
• Point-of-Service (POS)
• Health Maintenance Organization (HMO)
• Open Access Plans
• COBRA Services
• Additional products – to enhance members' health plans, they may also elect to have coverage for:
• Pharmacy
• Dental
• Vision

Great-West Healthcare provides an extensive network of 550,000 providers and more than 4,250 hospitals. Note that members of the Open Access plan need to utilize an in-network Primary Care Provider for their basic health needs and to obtain referrals. Each family member may select a different Primary Care Provider.
Members can also obtain add-on benefits from Great-West, including life insurance, flexible spending accounts, and wellness programs. The Medical Outreach program is available for members with chronic conditions and their Driver's Ed program provides important educational resources.
