HealthSprings' Life Enhancement Program is an exceptional plan for those members suffering a life-limiting illness. By both assisting with physical and emotional needs of these members, as well as providing support to caregivers (including education and counseling), members are able to have the best possible quality of life. The Life Enhancement Program is provided at no additional cost to members.

Individuals and families have a large selection of health insurance plans from HealthSpring, including:

  • HealthSpring Primary Plan
  • HealthSpring Primary Point of Service Plan
  • HealthSpring Freedom Plan
  • HealthSpring Freedom Point of Service Plan

Members will need to select a Primary Care Physician (PCP) for their primary medical needs; each member of the family can choose his or her own PCP. Members work with their Primary Care Physician for medical care and information about health decisions and wellness. PCPs also make referrals to participating specialists, when necessary.

Individuals and families can also take advantage of supplemental benefits, such as prescription drug coverage, vision services, chiropractic services and behavioral health/substance abuse services. Businesses may choose the Exclusive Provider Organization (EPO) plan, providing discounts to employees, while at a lower cost the employer.
