The first step in choosing an HMO with Intermountain Healthcare is to pick a network with the number of healthcare providers with which you would like to work. There are three levels from which to choose.
After selecting one of these options, you can proceed to looking at the healthcare plans.

HMO 80/20 Coinsurance offers members a choice of four deductibles between $250 and $2,500. After the deductible has been met, there is a 20% coinsurance inpatient services. Office visits with your primary care physician, or the physician who you have chosen to manage your medical care, require a $15 copay. Other services covered include prescription drugs.
HMO 70/30 offers the same deductibles as HMO 80/20. After the deductible is met, there is a 30% coinsurance on hospital inpatient services. Services covered include office visits and prescription drugs.
HealthSave 1500 and HealthSave 2700 over a 20% coinsurance on inpatient services after a $1,500 or $2,700 deductible has been met. Office visits and preventative care require a small copay. Other services covered include prescription drugs with a separate deductible and outpatient services.
HealthSave 5000 members do not pay coinsurance on covered services after the deductible has been met. Members pay a small copay for preventative services.
