• Premier Plan has no deductibles, except for prescription drugs which have a $200 deductible, and no coinsurance.  Members simply pay copays for services.  For example, a copay on an individual plan for primary care is $30.  Hospitalization is $500 per admission.  Emergency room visits have a $150 copay.  Other services covered include prescription drugs, ambulance, and maternity care. 
• Plan 500 offers a $500 deductible for individual members with a 30% coinsurance on most services when the deductible is met. There is a separate $200 deductible for prescription drugs. Members have a $30 copay on primary care, outpatient group therapy, and on brand preferred prescription drugs.  Coverage includes hospitalization, outpatient surgery, and physical therapy.
• Plan 1000, Plan 2000, Plan 3,000, and Plan 5,000 are all similar to Plan 500 except each of these plans has a larger deductible.

Kaiser Permanente has three HSA plans available for individuals, HSA Option 3,500/100%, HSA Option 5,000/100%, and HSA Option 3,500/80%.  The first Option has a $3,500 deductible and no coinsurance after the deductible has been met, the second has a $5,000 deductible and no coinsurance after the deductible has been met, and the last one has a $3,500 deductible with 20% coinsurance after the deductible has been met.  Preventative healthcare visits have a $15 copay in each plan. 

Kaiser Permanente also has HSA coverage for families.  Family Plans include the HSA 3,500/100%, HSA 5000/100%, the HSA Option 3,500/80% plus an HSA 5000/80%.  

HSA bills are paid through a Health Savings Account.  Members contribute pre-tax money to these accounts and, therefore, may be entitled to savings on their taxes.  Any money and accrued interest left in the account at the end of the year is rolled into the next year.  Many people use HSA accounts as another way to save money long term.
